My Mom Died Podcast
Role: Producer & Editor
I produce and edit My Mom Died, owning the full post pipeline from long-form episodes (15 minutes to 1 hour) to short-form social. The show is video + audio with a two-camera workflow, mixing in-person solo episodes and online interviews. On the long-form side, I build strong cold opens/intros, cut tangents, tighten pacing, and handle audio cleanup (levels + noise reduction), typically turning around edits in 1–2 revision rounds. On the short-form side, I personally select the moments and turn each episode into 5–10 clips with phrase-based captions, clean sound, and platform-ready exports across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. I also produce with clips in mind, feeding the host potential hook lines during recording, then finding and sharpening hooks in the edit so the podcast fits into a larger content system.
Results (first 60 days, organic):
TikTok 1.2M views, 108K likes, 13K profile visits (top clip 723K).
Instagram 830,652 views, 50,819 interactions (4,808 saves, 3,918 shares), 1,976 followers (top clip 524K).
Planet Em Podcast
Role: Producer & Editor
I edit Planet Em end-to-end for Emily McDonald, a neuroscientist turned mindset coach known as Em on the Brain and the creator of MindCraft. Emily’s whole brand is making brain science feel practical and shareable, so my job is to keep the full episodes tight and clear, then turn the best moments into clips that actually hold attention. Episodes are 30 minutes to 1 hour (single-cam, video + audio). I tighten pacing, cut tangents, and clean up audio (levels and noise), usually landing the final cut in one revision round. I also cut 5 vertical clips per episode with phrase-based captions, clean sound, and a strong hook up front, plus I handle the titles, descriptions, and SEO so the long-form and short-form work together.
Results in 6 weeks (organic, Instagram):
181,805 interactions (94,474 likes, 34,361 saves, 24,468 shares)
Top-performing video: 589K views.
Culture Raises Us
Role: Editor & Thumbnail Designer (Season 2)
I edited Season 2 of Culture Raises Us, a Black culture interview show, handling the full post pipeline for both YouTube and audio platforms. Over the course of a month, I delivered 12 complete episodes, editing 3-camera multicam interviews into clean, engaging conversations with strong pacing and clarity. I also handled audio mixing, making sure dialogue stayed crisp and consistent throughout each episode.
Alongside the full episodes, I created a 30–45 second trailer for every episode, built around a strong hook quote and structured to pull viewers in quickly, highlight the core theme, and drive people to the full conversation. These trailers were also repurposed for social promotion. To support discovery and packaging, I designed one thumbnail per episode (12 total) using a consistent template system so the season looked cohesive and professional across the channel. The most-viewed episode has reached 34K views on YouTube.
Made to Last
Role: Editor
I edit Made to Last, hosted by sneaker and footwear industry veterans Omar Bailey and Duane Lawrence, who break down the real Xs and Os of building brands in the shoe game. The show brings in designers, athletes, and marketing executives to talk product, business, and what it actually takes to last in the industry.
As the editor, I’m cutting both the full episodes and the short-form clips (with the hosts selecting the moments), focused on clean pacing and clarity while keeping the conversation engaging. I handle audio cleanup (levels and noise reduction) and create captioned clips for posting across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. I’ve delivered the first released episode, and I’m currently in production on the next five.
