Short Form
Hooks • captions • pacing • clean sound • platform-ready exports (Reels/TikTok/Shorts)
Zoe Church LA (Ps Chad Veach)
Role: Film & Broadcast Manager
I led the weekly Sunday post workflow and primarily owned the sermon trailer edit — a fast-turn, performance-driven cut made for YouTube + vertical social, with a 3-hour turnaround. The sermon ended around 11:30 AM, and I delivered a finished 40–60s trailer by 2:30 PM, exported in 16:9 (YouTube) and 9:16 (social).
The trailers were built to improve CTR (click-through rate — % of people who click after seeing the post), increase retention/watch time, and drive Instagram → YouTube conversion.
What I handled: selects + hook, retention-focused structure, captions + motion graphics (series-based styles), music/SFX + audio mix, final exports, and packaging into the sermon deliverables. I worked mainly in Premiere Pro (with After Effects when needed), using templates, preset caption systems, and an organized shared-drive workflow to hit consistent same-day deadlines.
My Mom Died Podcast
Role: Producer & Editor
I produce and edit My Mom Died and I’m responsible for turning long-form conversations into a high-output, high-retention social engine. I edit every episode end-to-end (12 episodes so far) and repurpose each recording into 5–10 scroll-stopping clips for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube (71 clips published). My strength is finding the moment—the line, reaction, or turn that makes someone stop—then shaping it into a tight structure that holds attention (hook → build → payoff) with clean captions, punch-ins, pacing, and sound polish.
Results in first 60 days:
TikTok: 1.2M views, 108K likes, 13K profile visits (top clip: 723K views)
Instagram: 830,652 views, 50,819 interactions (4,808 saves, 3,918 shares), 1,976 followers (top clip: 524K views)
This role includes selecting story beats, building repeatable clip formats, maintaining consistent style across platforms, and delivering organized, ready-to-post exports that convert attention into follows, shares, and saves.
Planet Em Podcast
Role: Producer & Editor
I edit Planet Em end-to-end and run the social-first repurposing pipeline, cutting full episodes for clarity and pacing, then turning each episode into high-retention short-form clips built to stop the scroll and hold attention (hook → build → payoff). I handle clip selection, structure, captions (phrase-based, retention-focused), sound polish, and platform-native exports with organized delivery.
Results in 6 weeks (Instagram):

181,805 interactions (94,474 likes, 34,361 saves, 24,468 shares)

Culture Raises Us
Role: Editor & Thumbnail Designer (Season 2)
I edited Season 2 of Culture Raises Us, a Black culture interview show, handling the full post pipeline for both YouTube and audio platforms. Over the course of a month, I delivered 12 complete episodes, editing 3-camera multicam interviews into clean, engaging conversations with strong pacing and clarity. I also handled audio mixing, making sure dialogue stayed crisp and consistent throughout each episode.
Alongside the full episodes, I created a 30–45 second trailer for every episode, built around a strong hook quote and structured to pull viewers in quickly, highlight the core theme, and drive people to the full conversation. These trailers were also repurposed for social promotion. To support discovery and packaging, I designed one thumbnail per episode (12 total) using a consistent template system so the season looked cohesive and professional across the channel. The most-viewed episode has reached 34K views on YouTube.
